Try to find an activity you really enjoy -- for me it's swimming, biking, or just walking. Any exercise is okay. You don't have to go to a gym to be healthy. Just walk to nearby stores, etc instead of driving, if you can. Take the stairs instead of the elevator. Mow the lawn with a push mower. Even getting up and changing channels instead of using the remote gets your blood moving a bit faster. We don't all have to be Ahnolds. Let those who enjoy working out do it; you don't have to if you don't like it.

Try mixing things up a little. Instead of running, go to a cardio-kickboxing class instead. Instead of weight lifting, try a body sculpting class. Instead of squats and lunges, try an hour long cycling class. You may want to go back to your old routine later, but this just kind of keeps things frresh. You may also get some good music ideas and put them on your iPod and you may wind up meeting a new workout buddy.
