David Wells threw his perfect game the year before he was traded to the Blue Jays for Roger Clemens.

Personally speaking... I don't think any of them. But, I always think of the great Warren Spahn who threw two no-no's after the age of 40.
If I had to choose... I'd go with Andy Pettitte. He has had a better than average career and could pull off a Don Larsen type surprise.

I would say either Chien-Ming Wang or Phillip Hughes. Mussina and Clemens are too old to throw a perfect game, since they can barely get into the seventh inning now. Pettitte has the stuff, but he's getting older and time might be catching up with him. Tyler Clippard doesn't have very good stuff.

Wang has a great sinker and if he's on his game, he could throw a perfect game. He also has great control. Hughes may be one of the next best pitchers in baseball. Since he's young, you never know.

Well, since the last two were ex-Blue Jays, I would say your only hope would be Roger Clemens.

Do they have 6 inning perfect games anymore??

Note to asker: David Wells started his career with the Jays and was there twice, 87-92 (winning a WS) and 99-2000.

His only 20 win season was with the Blue Jays.

Oh, and in both seasons with the Jays, Clemens was 2 for 2 in Cy Youngs.

Phillip Hughes, a very good prospect in the Yankees organization, is going to develop into a great pitcher in the MLB. Even as a Sox fan, I could see this guy being a very successful pitcher against us. But for now were up 11 games ahead of them and ready for them when we meet up again in August.

I think Roger Clemens will pitch a perfect game the next time he pitches at Fenway Park. It'll go something like this. 3 runs in the 1st(Ortiz and Manny hit HRs), 3 runs in the 2nd(Lowell and V-tek hit HRs) , 3 runs in the third(Coco and Cora hit HRS). Torre pulls him out to a resounding chorus of boos and embarrassment for the Rockette. WHAT A PERFECT GAME!!!!!

properly if it grow to be Joe West... that suited activity could've been out the window interior the 1st inning. of direction it may've been louder because of the fact long island and Detroit are 2 distinctive States. yet besides i don't get what your objective in asking this. If it wasn't for the Yankees baseball could probably be ranked third in united states of america for activities, in the back of soccer and Basketball. each and every time the Yankees come to a empty ballpark it gets crowded in seconds, investigate Tropicana field!

Mike Mussina

Wouldn't it be loverly if Clemens threw a perfect game this year?

But if it happens, it will be Mussina and if he doesn't, Wang may.

Mike Mussina just feels like the good answer though. He seems like he might have one in him one day.

My bets would be Chien-Ming Wang and Tyler Clippard (if he has a chance to develop). But Mike,Andy& Roger could still have one in them.

It might take him a while but this is the franchise pitcher for the yanks and his name is phillip hughes. this kid already took a perfect game into the 6th inning in his second start, plus he has a while to do it because the rest their starting pitchers suck balls(except the moose)
