So many and so premature....Rick Rude, Curt Henning, Davey Smith, Crash Holly, Eddie Guerrero, Kerry Von Eric, Owen Hart, Andre, Bam Bam, Boss Man, Brian Pillan, Miss Elizabeth and within the last 10 days - Sherri Martel last week and this week Chris Benoit. Only Owen Hart died in an accident, the rest have eitehr dropped dead or commit suicide. What the hell is going on in the wrestling industry? Is it been on the road 300 days a year away from family that causes depression? Is it the alleged steriods that encourage heart failure? These guys have the world at their feet, or so it would seem.

I really don't feel bad when we find out that a lot of this list died from prolonged steroid use, or use of other drugs. They did that to themselves. I feel bad for Owen Hart because his death was a freak accident, and others that have died in that sort of way. I would actually suggest less house shows. To work several days a week and throwing your body around like that must lead to at least a pain killer addiction. While wrestling is fake, these guys really do abuse their bodies, and need some time to recover.

I guess fame isn't all it's cracked up to be.

All or nearly all pro wrestlers use steroids, and 'roids cause liver and other problems health wise. Using steroids can cause depression and rage. It could just be Benoit went into a 'roid rage, and killed his family. When he saw what he had done, he couldn't live with himself and killed himself.

With the performing and travel schedule they are on, I would also bet they take a lot of speed and other uppers just to keep going. They cause a huge spike in blood pressure, so there goes strokes and heart attacks. I'm sure other drugs add to the death toll as well, indirectly.

the problem is if your out 'recupirating' or 'resting' in the wwe even for a week you miss out on a lot wich could set a wrestler back from the big time a lot.
i mean look at rick flair every five seconds bradshaw or jim ross are saying 'hes the greatest champ ever' and 'hes a hall of famer' but its completly obvious to any one he needs a break, he out of breath after a suplex
but if he did have a break he would be fighting on heat instead of smackdown
