I am having the weirdest pregnancy - I've suffered through kidney stones for the whole thing and am now 36.5 weeks pregnant. I've been losing my mucus plug over the past 2 weeks. Started out clear and now is pink tinged. Past 2 days I feel like I constantly need to have a bowel movement (sorry, tmi) and have menstrual cramping, lots of low back pain/stiffness with a lot of pressure when walking. Has anyone had this and gone into labor early? Or am I looking at 4 more weeks of feeling this way. I wouldn't mind going the 40 weeks if it didn't feel like this!! My other two pregnancies I didn't feel like this until the last week....

I believe the baby has dropped (there's a lot more room between my chest and stomach.) However, last Thursday, the doctor said the baby's head was not engaged.

Well, it's more than likely you are starting to go into labor. And usually with each pregnancy, the baby comes sooner and sooner. But there is always the exception to the rule and unlike your other pregnancies, this labor could last 4 weeks. Sorry. Good luck.

Since it is your third child, you are more likely to go into labor early. But I started having the lower pressure for a couple weeks. Especially when walking a lot, so if you can sit more often and rest, it probably won't be as fast. And also, they say you can lose your mucan plug a couple weeks before you actually have the baby. I am certainly not an expert, but that is just what I know and have read. But just in case, I would talk to my doctor about it. Good Luck!

Call you OB and get in ASAP. You could be going into labor and if they can stop it you will feel better.

I felt much of what you describe when I went into premature labor with my second at 29 weeks. Your baby is probably just fine to be born a little early but I had one at 3 weeks and one at 34 weeks and would love to have a full term baby without any worries.

Good luck and congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!

It sounds like your labor could be starting or it could be the way the baby is lying. He/she could be pushing against something causing you to feel like you have to have a bm. He/she could also be facing the front instead of the back. I had back labor with my first and that was what they said caused it. Has the baby dropped? It sounds like you could go early this time.

Hello. I had a D&C final April and acquired pregnant once more in August. Then I had one more D&C in October and I was once informed by way of my Dr. to attend three intervals earlier than attempting....and I'm nonetheless ready to get pregnant. I was once additionally considering if having a D&C might impact something, however after my first one I did not have a main issue.
