because he is a good role model. he has overcome a lot obstacles. he is really sweet, funny and down to earth. he cares a lot about his fans.(not only him but the rest of the band too) he is not only a singer but a story teller/song writer and preformer with an amazing voice and he belongs to the greatest band: my chemical romance. he is also really hot.

Uhm I'd have to say Oprah. I know everyone is thinking "Oh. How original." But, being African American myself, it makes me feel good to see a successful African American woman that doesn't have to shake her booty to be successful or recgonized. It also gives me inspiration that I can be the same thing if I try hard enough. So, MAJOR props to Oprah.
