He screwed the storyline, he screwed the act, he went out there, and said what he felt,

The only downside of this is that I think WWE rating are going to drop for this fake death crap ( with Vince )

A death is not something to be made fun of, becasue right now Vince is the sorriest person alive.

Vince is probably regretting canceling the show since he found out Benoit murdered his wife and son! I know I would have been. He should have gotten that little rip at the beginning of the show like Sensational Sherri did and nothing more.

There are going to be a lot of strange things said about this case and it has already started. I got this from an Atlanta newspaper this morning:

Fayette County District Attorney Scott Ballard told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, "The details, when they come out, are going to prove a little bizarre."

1. Ratings are not going to drop as a result of the botched story line & the Benoit tragedy. 2. If you have followed the WWE for any amount of time you know that storylines walk down the middle of the line between right and wrong. There have been storylines in the past that i felt were extremely far on the "that is so wrong" line. The WWE will continue to run outlandish storylines because fans tune in to see what they will do next. In my opinion it was bad timing with McMahon faking his death and the Benoit deaths. There will be more that comes out regarding that & the WWE will continue to be scrutinized & continue to entertain their fans with storylines that cross the line.

I don't think the ratings will drop, we knew all along the death was fake. It was right of him to drop the storyline and pay tribute to a great wrestler, I don't think he should be put ona pedestal for it though. It's just like in a soap opera when a character dies and then walks around doing press conferences in real life. If people can't distinguish between real life and the wrestling events then there is a problem. Like John Cena said when asked if wrestling was real..."It's REAL entertaining!."

I agree it was sick of him to fake his death, but it would have been even sicker to continue the storyline despite Chris, Nancy and Daniel's deaths. I was very happy that he owned up to what he did and made a statement.
