i want to call my oldest half brother to ask him something. but for some reason im afraid to. i havent seen or talked to him in over 3 years. should i just call and ask or leave him alone?

I haven't talked to my brother in over four years and I wouldn't call him if it was anything short of a medical emergency. Sorry, some things you can't forgive.

Call your brother. I do the same thing. I wait so long and then i feel stupid calling him after a yr. When he asks me where have you been?? I just say I am sorry I am a jerk and i wont do it again. LOL Once you get past that one minute of awkward time then it will all be good. You will feel such a relief when you hang up the phone.
go ahead get the phone and call him. :) He is your brother!!

Three years is a long time to not contact someone, I take it there is a reason for the delay. I hope this is a very important question that you must ask, but at the end of the day there is nothing wrong with just calling him to see how he has been...then you can sneak in that question! :)

I was in the same situation with my brother some time ago. Someone has to make the first call. He's family, you need to mend things. It might be hard, but it will be worth it.

if its to say hi or ask how he is and generally catch up then do it, just bite the bullet and do it!
if you need a favour from him then dont contact him just for that , three years is too long to not speak to someone and then just ring when you want something!
