It depends on what you mean.
Now a days, many people are essentially "logged in" all the time. My whole day is spent working in front of a computer and the net is now integrated into most every application. I am not necessarily surfing every minute but I have tickers, RSS feeds, and weather monitors. My browser is always open and my e-mail is alway open. I rarely turn off any PC I own or use.
It is probably not healthy to ignore the outside world or get so immersed that you do not take break or talk or other normal activities. If you are doing 'serious' work or research and you are "in the zone", I don't see a problem with being on the net all day. If you are becoming 'addicted' where you can't stop and take phone calls or go to a movie or whatever non-computer oriented things you do, that would be a problem or unhealthy.

Well, there's a question. I started workin on computers about 15 years ago when there was just dial-up and I could spend 3-4 hours sometimes then. Now with broadband and DSL its too easy. It can affect your eye-sight of course and can affect relationships if you're older!!
Its a bit like lorry driving.... take a 15 min break every hour and don't forget to go to bed!!!
Happy surfin.

Probaly close to a year 7days a week 24 hours everyday.
This really depends on your Internet Service Provider.
SOme will automaticly kick you off from Innactivity, especially Dial-up. not so much with DSl or Cable.

I think, maybe, I stayed on 18-20 hours some day a year ago. That was with only breaks for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and when nature calls.
