My husband and I have been married for 3 years and almost everyday we try to do something to tell each other" I love you more", well yesterday he really got me. He gave me a shower, washed me, my hair, shaved my legs etc. I told him I would return the favor...he says no go ahead and relax. So i got out and started drying off and he's says "and who loves who more?"...I need some suggestions on how to get him back. I am a stay at home mom with no car to go out and buy anything, so this has to be something done here at home with not purchasing anything! Thanks!

No I am not being defensive..this is just a "game" we have played since day one. Leaving poems for each other..., leaving love notes on the bathroom mirror with soap..etc. Just need help coming up with something good.

Forget the negative comments from a couple of people. I think it's wonderful that you and your husband let each other know almost every day how much you love one another. More power to you. But remember it shouldn't be a contest. Just enjoy it while it lasts which hopefully will be for a VERY long time
My suggestion is wrap yourself up as a present, with a big bow and a nice card. Tell him the merchandise is very fragile and he must be extremely careful! The rest will be HISTORY! for the 2 of you anyways.

Wow! You are so lucky to have this problem! Laugh, enjoy his attention, and don't worry too much about it. Cook him a good meal and maybe something special for dessert, like a cake. Tell him all the things you love about him, including the way he spoils and pampers you. Seduce him (he will love it...trust me...men equate sex with love). Get dressed up and meet him at the door. When he wants to know why you're all dressed up, tell him you have a date with the most wonderful man in the world: him! Then show him a great movie you rented and tell him you fixed his favorite dinner. (Great date, almost free!) Please don't think of it as a competition. Just think of it as expressing your love for him, and let him know that you feel that way.

This is funny that something that probably started as a fun and sweet thing to do has elevated to a level that is causing you stress and anxiety...and people say there can never be too much of a good thing.
I would suggest you give him a candle light massage with oils and soft music...
Talk to him about stopping this stupid crap while you do it. I think it's time to just be in love and stop trying to prove it so much.

Just a little confused here....you said that he said "who loves who more?" Did you become defensive? Because you are asking for suggestions on "how to get him back? ". I am sorry if I misinterpreted that. But if you are wanting to return the favor, do the same for him! Give him a bath, wash his hair, but dint shave his legs.

wow okay well what i did was for my 3month anniversary was made my man his favorite dinner..while he was at work
when he came home i Had a homemade card on the front door that just told him how much i appreciated him and that i loved him and to day was his day...
then when he came in i had dinner made all of his favorite foods, candle light dinner with rose petals all over the table...after dinner we went up stairs where there was rose petals on the stairs and in to the bathroom i had a warm bubble bath with roes petals in the bath bubbles candles all around the tub and a couple floating candles.....then we went in to the bed room and i gave him a full sexy body massage with candles in the room and roes petals again and then after the ,massage you know make him feel the way he would want to feel make him feel like hes the air that you need to breath...my man loved it and then he had no idea what to do for me! good luck hope its romantic and ya bett him in his own game!
