A woman can walk in to any Ann Summers store on the high street and buy a dildo with no shame at all. But if a man wants to buy any toys or porn, he is branded a pervert by society and has to go to some seedy back-street shop or some dodgy mail-order company.

Why is this?

This is only a recent change in our society .. Ann summers came to the high street only a few years back ....

Having lived in germany for many years i have never held a negative opion of anyone wishing to purchase from these outlets.

In germany they are like supermarkets .. complete with trolleys.

We still have a long way to go here before we lose the seedy back street shops .. but go into ann summers loads of guys go in there ...

I think it comes down to how women only need a vibrating stick. Sex toys for men have to be more complicated.

Think about how easy a penis is to replicate, then think about how difficult it is to replace a vagina. Men would need some sort of a self-lubricating adjustable size canal. While women's toys can improve on nature quite easily, men's toys can't even replicate nature properly, let alone surpass it. Men's toys usually look extra creepy too, look up real dolls.

Since there is no good alternative, guys end up just needing porn, and that is looked upon as wrong by many people. So yes it is unfair, but unfortunately there is not much we can do about the various sexual advantages that women have.

I'm not sure if i agree with everything you say, men are perverts when they take it just that step to far, not just because they buy sex toys, my boyfriend buys sex toys and he feels no need to go to back street shops or mail orders, be open about your sexual preference, as long as you don't perve over the female costumes whilst you are in Ann Summers its ok, men should learn the difference between sleazy and good sexual appetite.

I didn't know you could go into this store and buy one. Never heard of Ann Summers stores. And to be truthful, most men don't go unaccompanied into a store full of lingerie and toys because they're staffed by middle-aged women who scowl at him or treat him rudely. They prefer to go directly in, get what they want and out again without hassle. It that's back-street or mail-order, there it is.

I thought you guys just liked the seedy stores better makes it seem even dirtier when you buy porn. My ex loved the shops with the girls in the boxes. Oh well I don't think guys who buy porn are perverts at all. Gmorning Roo how's my boy?

Because men get to keep all their other toys in life we as woman decided to let you have them and we figured out what the real important ones are.Stop and think about it were not
complaining we want a boat, or a truck, or a new set of clubs,ect.ect.
While your off playing, guess what were doing? Toy laundry.

That's a matter of opinion....I think if you ran a survey you would find that the majority would find the male is equally in his right to have those things as much as a women without criticizing him.
