Notice that the ATI has 512MB and the Nvidia has 256MB though they are about the same price. Which one is better for gaming? Links: Nvidia: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150210 ATI: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102071

No comparison really the ATI is a pro series card and has 2x the memory. But it is also $40 more than the 7600 a better comparison would be

BFG Tech BFGR76512GSOC GeForce 7600GS 512MB 128-bit GDDR2 AGP 4X/8X

Found here : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814143069

and it is cheaper and better than the ati x1950pro!

But if you need AGP go with the BFG Tech BFGR76512GSOC GeForce 7600GS 512MB 128-bit GDDR2 AGP 4X/8X

Best bang for your buck, or if you wanted to spend a little more you can get.

XFX PVT71AYDF3 GeForce 7950GT 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 AGP 4X/8X

This is a very good card !

Granted none of these cards are going to compare to an

The ATI card is the better card out of the two, and that isn't just because of the amount of memory. Definitely get the ATI one unless you want to use Linux. ATI's driver support for Linux is horrible, but if you're only using Windows, it'll be the better card.

X1950 Pro is better, of course! Benchmarks below:
