Do you think Chris Benoit is a hero or a villan?

Chris Benoit was 1 of the best wrestlers ever, I looked up to him, he was my first inspiration to start wrestling, and i watched Smackdown! because i wanted to see a Benoit match.

Then again, if WWE.com and the police investigation is correct, Benoit has murdered his beloved son, he murdered the woman that loved him, and he murdered himself. I don't know what would make Benoit want to do those things, I always thought Benoit was a kind person, but I don't know anymore

What do you think? Hero or Villan?

I think it is to early to tell but for now ---- R.I.P Benoit

Well lets see, Bush Murdered 3, 557 American Soldiers, and people consider him as a hero. Those are the stone cold facts.

Benoit entertained me for well over half of my adult life, and the hard facts about his death and the death of the family keep changing by the website.

My only hero is Christ, But Benoit entertained me to the tilt.

R.I.P.

Wrestling is pretty much like a mans soap opra- Vince was a butt hole on the show, that was his character on the show so some people need to chill out and don't judge someone you don't know personally.

The whole Benoit thing has me puzzled, but yet again, we only knew Chris as the "Wrestler Chris Benoit" not the real person he was.

No one knows what happened and even though they are investigating the situation, we may never know the true story, but one thing is for sure, any one who would kill a child is SICK!

I don't know if he is a Hero or Villan until I know the facts- I have mixed feelings, and like I said I may never classify him as either because we may never know the true story of him and his families death, you know, they aren't here to tell their story!

If he did do it, then he might be a villian. Who knows what really went on in his head if he did? I'll leave the judging up to God, and I'll wait for the real facts to come out before I make any conclusion.

However, I will forever remember Chris Benoit, the wrestler and my hero. The same guy who inspired me to believe that if you work hard, dedicate yourself to what you love, and never give up, you can accomplish anything.

If he murdered his family, then I will probably lose my respect for Chris Benoit, the person. But I will always cherish Chris Benoit, the wrestler.

Many of us are mourning Chris Benoit, the wrestler, and waiting for all the facts to come out in the investigation before we can fully come to our own conclusion on Chris Benoit, the person. And besides, he was an inspiring wrestler. Here was a man who had absolutely no look and shouldn't have gone anywhere in the business, let alone the WWE, and yet he got by solely on his hard work and dedication, proving that if you always try your hardest and never give up, you can accomplish anything. I will continue to honor that Chris Benoit, regardless of what he did or didn't do, and I'll wait on the details before I even think of condemning him.

Chris Benoit was not perfect no human being is perfect.
I watched Smackdown every week just to see Benoit.
No doubt Chris Benoit was and still is my favorite wrestler.
He'll be remembered as the best technical wrestler ever.
If it's true that he murdered his family I'll be disappointed.
I will lose some respect for him but I'll always love him.

Edge, he was going to shortly be named ECW champion. He was incredibly determined in the last match of his career vs. MVP. His intensity wasn't unlike any other Chris Benoit match I'd ever seen.

For those who claim Benoit to be a murderer, I feel obliged to ask - what was his motive? Not to suggest myself that Benoit murdered anybody, I actually felt quite sickened when I heard the news that Benoit was being pinned for two murders and a suicide.

Of course, autopsies haven't been released yet, and I know it's difficult to lay low about the situation, but please, guys, wait until we have more than just a police squad's opinion before passing any judgement.

Benoit had a great wrestling talent. Murdering his wife and son would have to outweigh that, though. If it's proven by forensics that Benoit did such horrible things, he would go down as a real life villain.

I think he was an awesome wrestler. I agree with you, if he murdered his family which it looks like going by all of the reports he is not a hero. He is someone that had some major issues outside of the ring.

Yeah, according to Georgia police reports, his wife was said to be killed Friday. He spoke with WWE on Saturday afternoon. His son was killed late Saturday. Benoit was said to be killed sometime Sunday. Meaning after his wife Nancy (aka:Woman) had been killed, he was in the house a day + while her dead body lay bound upstairs as he text messaged WWE employees. His son was said to be killed Saturday after the text msgs.
Yes he did it. NO he is no hero. How the hell you could ask such an outrageous question questions your own ethics or stability.

I would rate his public persona as a wrestler as a hero. I'm going to wait to rate his private persona until all the details are out about the deaths.
