Screw what they say.

If you divorce and you feel good about your decision then you should celebrate. Sometimes divorce can be the best part of the marriage, unfortunately. The best way to celebrate is to do something your wife wouldn't approve of while your married(as long as it's not hazardous to your health or doesn't get you locked up).

Whoever thinks celebrating the finality of a divorce is celebrating failure needs to think again.

Congratulations. Theres a sense of relief that is immeasurable when it becomes final. I remember that feeling and still have it.

Whether you go out or stay in - do what you want to do.
The idea on a good glass of wine (Bera Canelli Muscato D'Asti) is a great idea. Maybe a nice meal. A movie. ...Whatever works for you

Go to your local bar and have the band play "Goodbye to you". Seriously, I don't think divorce is something to be celebrated. No matter how bitter it was. When you first met your spouse to be there was something that you loved about them. Why not just remember the good stuff even if the marriage came to an end.

Your conscience is speaking now...take sometime alone to really think about what you did wrong in this failed relationship...and what you could do to better your future or present relationships so this won't be a repeat...after you do that do something really nice for your present mate to let her know how much you appreciate her for being apart of your life and sticking with you through this rough time in your life...you two should do something different like...go to a wine bar and toast to the future!!

This is your new beginning today...learn from the past-

Buy something for yourself that you would never have done while married.
BTW, divorce is traumatic as well as releasing.
Keep the drinking to a minimum - it may cause you depression until you are healed.
Trust me, I know of what I speak. Married 20 divorced 2.

Sit back, relax and think about the good times and bad times you had. The good times to remember what to keep doing and the bad times to remember the mistakes you made to not do again.. After that go out with your buddies.. Friends are always the best to be around during these times..

Go get screwed, blued, and tattooed, dude!

Drunken partying with your best buds, a serious nooky-fest (quality nooky, not skanky stuff), and a tattoo to commemorate the event.

Sometimes living like a rockstar after a traumatic event helps cleanse the spirit.
