During a heated argument, my husband threw hot coffee at me. I was LIVID!

I work in a psychiatric hospital. It wasn't thrown on my face, but I'm sure the lady tried. She threw her cup of water on me, and it landed all over my shirt and pants. (Thank goodness it was ONLY water b/c patients have been known to throw other things...)
Anyway, I didn't react. She was an older lady, and just not doing well later in the evening.
She was however escorted back to her room, since she could not remain in the community areas with those actions.
Oh, what a job!

When my son was a baby, he had a habit of spitting what ever he did not like the taste of, right at the face of whoever was feeding him....which was mostly myself or my husband.
How did we react ? Well, stoically.....we wiped off our faces and carried on with boiled apples...mashed potatoes...cereals...whatever. Could a parent do anything else?

Cottage cheese and peaches....was at a Gallgher show. I was kind of embarrassed until I saw that I was not the only fruit salad in the audience.

yes I did and I was pissed. My daughter was eating a cinnabon with syrup on it. She is 10 yrs old and knows everything, she was cranky one morning and I was busting her chops so she got upset with me and threw it on my head.
she has never done anything like that in her life. I picked my mouth off the floor an hr. later.

LOL, yeah. Freshman year of HS I had a beer dumped over my head at a party 'cause some chick thought I was trying to steal her b/f. Haha.

when I was growing up, I was mad at my mom and she made me a sandwich. I told her I didn't want anything she made and she said if I didn't eat it I would wear it. Well, I didn't eat it but it made a nice hat and a huge mess in my hair as she smeared it on my head. Didn't like it but my reaction was to just sit there and act like nothing happened because that got to her more than anything.

Yes, a large glass of water. After I got over the shock I laughed my a## off.
