I've had two lately.
The first was when we went up to my brother's house. We got the kids out of the car and were unloading the stuff, and I couldn't find the diaper bag. We were over an hour from home, so big problem. Well, we went in the house, and I was all freaking out, then I dropped what I was carrying and found the diaper bag on my shoulder. Duh!
Then this weekend we were at a friend's house for dinner. One of the other kids dropped her plate on the floor. She made the comment, "Well at least I didn't drop it on the baby." Suddenly I started looking around frantically for the baby and couldn't find him anywhere. Then I looked down, and he's in my arms drinking his bottle. Double duh!!

Lol.... My experience with 'baby brain' was continually locking my keys in the car. I have never locked my keys in the car until i was pregnant. I called a auto locksmith and he managed to get my car open after several attempts and about an hour). I thanked him, (locked) and shut my door all with the keys still in the ignition! I wished the ground woulda swallowed me right then and there!

I consider all the comments approximately this "difficulty" being blown out of share. Davis hit a recreation winning basket, that became the version in his group being down 3-a million or tied 2-2. that's the prospect you're taking once you take a seat courtroom area. If an Orlando participant had hit his son, there does not have been a situation. His son extra advantageous than possibly went to college on Monday excited that he's definitely getting this lots interest. The Dad desires to recover from it....NBA action is astounding!!!

When my son was 7 months, I would go in and change a dirty diaper in the night without turning lights on...I forgot to put a diaper back ON one early morning! What a mess when I went in the next morning! HA! I also forgot to strap him IN the carseat once. Not really funny then, but I didn't drive far before I looked back and he was hanging over the carseat....very "I have no brain" moment!

I was doing laundry once and put my bay son in the center of our very large bed, didnt even leave the room or the foot of the bed for that matter, bent straight down for like 5 seconds to pick up clothes, stood up in time to see my 3 month old baby rolling off the bed into the laundry lol. I felt awful but I've heard so many stories...its a wonder some of us make it to adulthood, I know my dad dropped me cuz he used to hold me in one hand.

LOL.....

I have had too many of these to even pick just one to tell!!!
I have left my babys diaper bag in the buggy at Wal-Mart, thankfully someone turned it in.
Our daughter sleeps in the bed with us, and I had gotten up early one morning so that I could get my shower before my husband went to work and I had placed pillows around her because she was still asleep and told my husband to watch her. When I got out of the shower the pillows were in the floor and she was not were I had left her. I panicked looking in the floor when the whole time she was on the other side of my husband.

I spoke backwards when I was pregnant. Instead of saying Let's go to Ernie and Shirley's, I said Let's go to Early and Shirnie's house, stuff like that all the time or I would say, go get a fridge out of the water, All the time at work in an argument with my husband, it's hard to yell at someone when the words come out wrong!

The first time I left the house with my son, we had one of those car seats where the seat detaches and is also a carrier. I had the carrier part in the house, so I put him in, covered him up real well (it was in December), took him out, attached the carrier to the car seat base in the car and went to town.

When I got my son out of his car seat, I realized that I had not buckled him into the carrier!

New mothers are always frazzled...and should be allowed those "duh" moments...

excellent question!! I used to have a very sharp memory and it seems I lost it during - and after- my pregnancy. I keep looking for my baby's clothes and they are over my shoulder....I don't know where I left the bottle and I have it in my hand ......One morning I was so tired I kept answering the phone and it was the alarm ringing......LOL.
