If so...I'm trying to alleviate some papers on my desk and get them into a program on the PC instead... I'm trying to figure out how to set up a program in either access or excel where I can schedule individual appointments with client(s) and their consultants and then generate a printout of those individual assignments for the consultants to know which client to meet with and when, and of course some demographics of each profile would be included, but for the appointment scheduling I would like to setup an automatic program for them from (via data entries) prompts that could be answered and then the program will automatically setup the appointments.
If you know of a site where I can find formulas for such programming in those two softwares and if there is a way for either of these programs to automatically open email programs for sending out each individual appointments to consultants would be great assistance...serious replies only please...Thanks ahead of time!

I already do know the softwares....just don't know the query formulas that would enable program to setup schedules....then email them out to each individual consultants...I tried browsing for templates at Microsoft's site and found very little for my employer's (who is cheap and won't upgrade to office 2007) version of office pro 2002...

You'll need to have a table with all of the appointments & the details in it.

Then a Data-Entry form with "required fields" for them to use (a LOT easier than a series of prompts).

Also, You'll have to setup a second DB with the original tables linked, and build a loop in a VBA module using the DoCmd.Sendobject function to go through the consultants and email each one a report/query with the list of thier appointments.

This can take a week to put together & shake the kinks out of it when You know what You are doing. Since You have to ask, It's a little beyond your experience, but You can probably figure it out.

A good learning tool for stuff of this level is the Northwind SampleDB. It has instructions on writing the VBA code to do a lot of the stuff it does. Look it up in the Microsoft knowledge base.

Do a public calendar in Google and have your parties sign on there. It sent remiders to you and them to their email addresses

Crikey, my best answer would be to hire someone to do it... or take a year long advanced Access and Excel course...
