is it normal for a 13 yr. old boy to look at boy on boy pictures . does this mean he is gay or just curious? I found where someone was looking at stuff like this on my pc. I have an 8yr old son in the house with this13 yr old and its kinda freaking me out.

At 13 yo I would say he is curious. Puberty is starting to kick in and his hormones are raging. Could he be gay - it is possible but it is really too early to say for sure. You never know, at 14 he might be looking at pictures of girls.
I can see where this would concern you having an 8 yo (and I agree). I think you should talk with the 13 yo and tell him not to have that material out when the 8 yo is around.

He is at that stage in his life where he is finding out new things happening with his body ( going through puberty ), its not abnormal for a boy at this age to compare himself to pictures of other boys or even have some fascination in their bodies, its almost like playing doctors and nurses. Don't freak out, what you can do is sit down with him and talk with him about going through his puberty stage, and reinforce to him that if he has any questions about growing up, that you will gladly talk with him, or you can books for him to read on relationships, as for the 8 year old, you must realise that he will more than likely go through this same stage when he 13.

Its normal to be curious but its not good to expose an 8 year old to stuff like that just yet. Kissing pictures are ok but I don't know how much else an 8 year old can handle.

Your 8 year old son was in your house with a 13 year old boy?i would talk to his parents.Or was he looking at a picture of a 13 year old?Either its not good talk to your son,and put one of those child proction things on your computer.Whats he doing looking at that kind of stuff anyway?Watch what he does on the computer next time.

the 13 year old might be gay but that doesn't mean that he'd harm the 8 year old sexually.
Why don't you ask him without being upset when you do, tell him that you found gay pictures on your pc and that you want to know if he's been looking at them and if he's gay. but do it calmly are he'll lie about it.

absolutely normal to be curious about sexuality in general at that age.
your reaction is going to set the standard for future interactions between the 2 of you. do not over react. you should talk to him and explain that you noticed it and that it is normal. then ask him if he has any questions.
he will probably be a bit embarrassed and say no but this interaction will set a good precedent in his mind that you are open and caring of him as an individual.

homosexuality has not correlation with abuse. even if the 13 y/o has these gay desires, doesnt mean he will abuse your 8 year old. if hes looking at what could be classified as 'child pornography' it might be ebcause he is only 13 y/o and it does not mean he is pedophyle. its is not quite normal to be looking at this and you should sit him down and talk about his behaviour if this is the case.
just let him figure it out for himself, and support him when he does come to you and tells you.

curiosity is normal, but using your pc is problematic... I'd address it... I'd also be a little concerned about how it may impact your 8 year old... whether it's interest in gay or straight porn, there are some dangerous conceptions being built there...

just dont accuse him of anything pls. If he's just going through puberty it may change what hes in to. Just let him come to you and dont rush him into things.
