Ok , I don't know much about anorexia, but maybe you can help me. I think i am semi-anorexic. I think about being anorexic all the time and seeing ppl like on youtube saying I had anorexia && stuff. I wish I was them. I mean like I wish I had there life. I am not overweight nor underweight, yet. I am 13 4'10 and 72lbs. I think it would be so great to be anorexic..&& its not to be blamed by the media. I would never wanna be Nicole Richie. I wanna be like ppl who have anorexia and arent famous. I have to make sure I am still the same weight in the morning afternoon or night. Or i will stop eating, but not completetly. I make sure My ribs still show in my stomach, if they dont I think right away..I am fat!
I do see myself in the mirror with big flabby thighs and big arms, everyone says My legs are sticks and you can see bones in my back. I dont get it I can never see myself the way I wanna be seen. What do i have?
Am i semi-anorexic??

Yes you need to tell someone about your problem, a friend, or parent, or guardian. And then go eat something.

I sure hope you can see a doctor and talk to a counselor about this before your problem gets out of hand.

Two of my friends in high school (I'm 32 now) were anorexic. One had a stroke when she was 18 (any type of drastic dieting puts strain on your heart). The other one cannot have children because of how poorly she treated her body when she was a teen. Her periods stopped altogether when she was 16 and she went through menopause.

Just a couple things to think about, many of the tv programs showcasing the trials and tribulations on anorexia and bulimia leave out the fact that many women develop heart problems and become barren.

Right Sweetie...
I'm 13...I Had Anorexia When i was 11...Ive only started to deal with it now.
You say you want to be anorexic. Is it so you'll be thin? But you wnt..well i mean of course you will be thin.painfuly thin. But in your head you'll be bigger then ever and no matter what anyone says you'll always belive that.
And hospital? Trust me it'll be the worst experience of your life. You'll spend hours and hours crying...your forced too eat food which you might not even like...but the nurses don't care. They can't care or they'd get too attached and involved. Cos thats what anorexia does ..It affects everybody around you...Not just yourself. Youve probably heard all this before. But I'm talking from expeirience. It Ruins your life...I will never be able to think of food in the same way again. Please don't end up like me honey. Good Luck |XXX|

that weight is very concerning. you should talk to your dr about it.

but on the flip side-some people (like me at 5"1 and 92 lbs) are just naturally small.

you should never stop eating during the day though-it's unhealthy and unsafe.

at 13 you shouldn't be all that worried about your weight anyways-you're still young!! eat, live, and be happy!!

your weight tends to flucuate throughout the day/nite and (i'm not sure if you have yet) once you start your period-the changes in your hormone levels will affect your weight as well. you tend to weigh more during your period so if you freak out and stop eating while on your cycle, once your weight goes back to normal-you could greatly hurt your health and wellbeing.

anorexia is a dangerous, life threatening illness and if you think you have it-you need to seek help immediately-it will only get worse. you're too young to worry about something so serious!!

good luck!!

I'm no professional, so I don't know if you've crossed the line yet, but you're definitely headed in that direction. Speak to your parents or some other trusted adult before it gets worse. I also suggest therapy.

Stop watching TV.. and stop paying attention to the bullsh!t image that the media uses to get you to buy sh!t. Find something deeper to think about. You'll get out of this before you know it.

I think you need to speak to a doctor before you develop a full blown eating disorder.

Hi... :)

You are 'normal' girl and you should eat and drink 'normal' too, but without exaggerating :) I don't know, how old are you, but I think, that you are simply slim... :):):)

Besides, it is very good, that you become upset... if you feel the need, you should go to the doctor and he/she calms you :):):)

I keep my finger crossed for you :):):)
Take care :)
Best regards :)
