Everytime i answer a question they always have lots of thumb downs !!!

Then thats just daft, because everyone can be a top contributor if they want to - they just need to take the time to answer more questions themselves. You carry on! I won't give you the thumbs down!

I'm not certain it is because of your status. People abuse the thumbs down button just because they may not agree with you. If it makes you feel any better, I'm on a mission to thumbs up any answers unjustly rated to even the playing field.

I never notice. I answer a question, and move on. Thumbs up or down are just someone's opinion.

Their not all hated, some of them are scumbags though but luckily ive not come across a nasty or big headed one for about 4 mths now.
And i dont do thumbs down ever.

This unfortunately reflects the % of the population who are bitter and twisted. I do not have your problem, being a minor contributor. It would be good if Yahoo put a filter on constant "objectors" to minimise their effect. Keep it up girl, I enjoy your comments.

Because they don't have a life and spend too much time on Yahoo Answers or perhaps it's jealousy.
Seriously I don't think that's the case though. I don't mark people down just because they are top contributor, it all depends on the comment made.

i think its jealousy i am always getting thumbs down,i don't care i give my opinion and it comes from my knowledge in my case of animals
every one on here could become a top contributor and all it takes is keep answering questions.

People are thinking they have got there by doing nothing all day for months on end and are giving each other best answers etc which must be true. How can one or a select few have dso many best answers.
p.s I dont mind them.
