How can I reformat without disks?

I have NONE of the disks.
i don't have xp, i don't have the boot disk or anything.
no money to buy a new copy of windows either.
majorly need to reformat.. how can I?

Dude! its certainly impossible to reformat without disk...its like doing yahoo without computer.

well,only thing you can do is...reformat your other drives! (other then drive containing windows XP..genrally C:)

steps.
1. go to my computer.
2. right click on drive you want to format.
3.Format.
4.Your done..with that drive formating.

By the way why do you need to reformat?
if your PC runs slower then i have got the solution..

1.Disc Cleanup wizard
2.Uninstall uncessary softwares
3.Defragmentation..


disc cleanup

steps
1.goto start menu
2.programs
3.Acessories
4.System tools
5.Disc cleanup *

Disc defragmentor
----------------
same upto system tool as it was earlier
5.defragmentation.

Remove not reqd softwares
------------------------------------

1.goto control panel
2.Add remove programs
3.remove NOT imp. softwares.


I am pretty sure you will get better speed after following these steps.

Only way to get XP reformated it get yourself a pirated XP CD or borrow somewhere. But its illegal.

The only option I am aware of is if you have one of the Internet Security Suites Installed on your Machine some have the Option to erase and reInstall without the use of the Original Disc set.
However, remember that almost all Computer Manufactures sell there units with there own custom tailored copy of XP that they purchase the licenses in bulk. They therefore have a huge amount of unneccessary junk or add ons that they include on there copy's of XP.
I suggest if you really need to reformat.
Get a fresh copy of Windows XP Proffesional.
This operating system is by far and away the most stable and bug free of all they have.
Remember DO NOT USE a BORROWED copy from another machine, This will cause you further grief.
You want a stand alone copy from Microsoft. You can buy them at any Wallmart.

Without the install CD, you won't be able to reinstall Windows. There's no way around it. The only thing you can do is try to clean up your current install, but that too can get messy depending on what issues you're having.
