Not an apologist I am just for the war and against surrender.

Lugar just wants media attention. We all know the media leftists love the anti war Republican.

I'm by no means an apologist but if Lugar is one of the few who is representing his constituents, hat's off to him. I see nothing wrong with that at all.

Just like the immigration bill. The voters aren't being listened to.

Richard Lugar is wanting to get reelected to the Senate next election, he is only out for himself. Typical Republican format.

I am against the war but I still think Lugar is a bum. I couldn't care less about his lip service.

people can draw their own conclusions..and do it out of principle..what was right 5 years ago can be wrong now..
Lugar said reduce influence..not cut and run..

so don't go dancing on the table..I think 50,000 troops protecting the Kurds and able to run missions against
the Terrorists in the rest of Iraq..isn't what you have in mind..

using Satellite Technology and armed drones to take out
al Qeada sounds better than letting you whine about a soldier you wouldn't buy a beer for..and thank.

Nope, just doing his job. Unlike the Democrats, when a republican advances a different idea to his colleagues, it's considered a part of his responsibility. The democrats are the ones who get their panties in a wad everytime a member breaks ranks, like with Joe Lieberman. The minute he voiced a diferent opinion, all the anti-semites in the Democratic Party started hurling insults and tried to get him booted.
