There are stories in many religious texts about people who are visited by spirits in their dreams. I've read this in everything from Native American literature to Christian literature. Yes, it is possible.

Somebody may be trying to communicate with you through your dreams (but it doesn't have to be somebody who has passed). How you percieve it or interpret the dream is up to you. Spirits will sometimes come to you while you are sleeping, and, being in an unconcious state, you will experience their presence as part of your dream. Because you are dreaming, you may change the interaction or misunderstand the communication. You can learn skills related to dreaming that help to determine if the dreams are just dreams or whether they are truly contact with a spirit.

Look into Lucid Dreaming and Creative Imagining for more information on the topic. It sounds like a very hard situation. Try to stay positive. It will help you to resolve the situation more quickly. Good luck.

No, but you knew what had taken place. It sounds more probable that this was just a normal dream. a) You know the information and he wouldnt have known it.
B) It sounds like you have hostility toward his mother.

The whole concept of dead people remaining on earth is an old wives tale, which has been taken to the extreme by hollywood, urban legends, shady ghost hunters, and fake mediums.
Your deceased guy might be in heaven or hell, who knows, but he is not around to give you dreams and comfort you at night.

We are physical beings in this world. There are great benefits to taking advantage of that and ignoring spiritualist ideas of the persistent soul....but that is only one option.

Don't make your decision based upon what people tell you. You are creating your own reality in your own mind (just like the people who want to tell you what to do).

You are also more than a physical being. Your life has spiritual dimensions that are not solved with physical solutions.

Explore the deep parts of yourself, your "inner being", and use your feelings to guide you to the answers you seek.

Im sure that it happens , but Im not certain that is what you were dreaming . I f the dream was helpful to you and you feel it was not your own wishes and it comforts you why not just accept that it for what it was , a dream that made you think beyond what is known.

No impossible. Dreams are your own subconscious thoughts being recreated in a weird way through dreams.

dreams are what "you" think about all day, but they end up in a mish mash. It's all "your" thoughts.
