How many of you seniors (55 & above) have gotten a notice from Yahoo that you got a violation? I did! Just because I stated: "You would think a high school senior would know proper grammer. Dah!" Most people would feel a HS senior would know proper grammer or at least be able to use spell check. Guess that HS senior, that reported me, was a bit p*#*#*off. But then the question wasn't a very nice one either.
I earned my stripe and proud of it-Thanks to a HS senior who is clueless in grammer. Go ahead! Report me again.

I think you mean rite of passage, although the pun is valid, after all.

Whenever you say something negative to a troll or similar creature, you can expect retaliation. This is true whether or not the negative comment is justified. Perhaps it is somewhat MORE true when the comment was justified!

The problem, of course, is the automated "report abuse" function. There should be a better way to keep it from being abused. The only thing I know about is that if one user is repeatedly reporting abuse which is then contested and found to be unjustified, that reporter will be suspended. So if you get an unjustified violation report, do follow the appeal procedures. It's your duty as a troll-buster!

Having not been reported by a vengeful Yah-ho'er of late, the only elder rite of passage that comes to my mind is my death. Eventually, both events will happen. Until then, and after wards, I am not in control. So I intend to have as much fun as I can while I can.

I have received violation notices for that too. I can't help it. We all make errors but some of these extremely poorly written questions deserve a comment.

Excuse me, I can't play favorites even if I am a senior citizen. You spelled grammar incorrectly twice.

You're absolutely right. Some HS students don't know how to spell, much more construct correct English sentences (with subject, verb and predicate). I think they should not get mad if they stand corrected because it was constructive criticism; it was for their own benefit and information. So there!

Hiya Dragon, join the club. My first violation I was quite upset about, had two more since, don't worry about them now, I know I never said anything wrong(on those occasions anyway lol) so don't you worry about them. They seem to me to be a bit of a status symbol .You are now a fully fledged member of a very select club!!! x

You're one elder senior who might know about grammar, but your spelling needs improvement. People who live in glass houses....

Yeah I got one and the question was pretty generic. Guess no one liked the question. Still who said life was fair.
