I'm only fifteen and I'm making a BAAAD thesis for my english class. Which has the best contestable thought?

1. The quality of education teachers provide nowadays is less than average compared to previous decades.
2. Changes in the curriculum by the Department of Education during the last year resulted to better quality education for the high school category.
3. Decline in educational quality is detrimental to the morals established by the Philippine culture through the ages.

First and foremost in any thesis statement is grammar.

1. Today's teachers provide a lower quality of education than was provided in previous decades.

2. Last year's Department of Education changes to High School curriculums resulted in a higher quality education.

3. Decline in educational standards is detrimental to Philippine morals established during colonial times.

Of these, the first is probably the most "contestable" as the term "quality" is highly subjective. Terms like "less than average" are equally subjective and should be avoided unless you have a means to determine what defines an "average" education. For example, for any given period of time, the average education is always "average", that's why it's called "average". If you are implying that the current level is "lower", simply say it's lower (as in the rewritten statement I've offered above).
All three of your arguments contain the word "quality", so your first mission should be to define "quality" in quantifiable terms. Do you mean testing scores? Are the scores indexed world-wide, locally or throughout the nation? What is the benchmark? To suceed in a debate on the subject, especially in a thesis where you must make your point without counter argument rebuttals, you need to make your statement measurable. For example, a statement that reads:
"The latest standardized test results indicate that students are scoring lower on average today than they did at any time in the past decade, indicate today's teachers are providing a lower quality education."

hope this helps.

Because sentence 1 is worded the best, I'd go with that one. You already have a better start on that one, than the other two.

You can provide evidence based on standardized test results, numbers of students unable to enter college after high school, and indications that youths don't know as much as adults did at the same age.

Number 1.

You will have a fun time defining "quality" and "provide", and then comparing them to the past. So this should be quite contestable!
