I've just heard a few men say that can and wondered if it was the case for most men.

I'm not sure if it's the case for most men, or women for that matter. Having spent a good portion of my life in the closet (I'm 30, and I came out when I was 27) I have had sex with several women. I know that every time I did, I always pictures a man in my head. I know that it was the only way I was going to enjoy what I was doing. I has nothing to do with the fact that I didn't like the women that I was with. It has everything to do with the fact that I didn't like having sex with the women that I was with.

Fanciness is a state of mind. Many times I've had sex with people whom later I thought 'what did I see in that person?'.
But at the moment my hormones cry louder and I just want to do it, there and then. This is my experience. But I do need to fancy that person, it doesn't matter is the person is uggly, becuase at the time my eyes see the person as beautiful and gorgeous.

Well i don't know about men, but i can enjoy sex if i don't fancy that person. At the end of the day its physical pleasure so if it feels good why not do it?

I expect many guys get pleasure from sex with any partner during a one-night stand whether they fancy that person or not! personally I could only have sex with someone I really like - the person with whom I am in love!

Yes. Take away the morals and add some alcohol and any vagina will do......
.....for some men.
Personally, if she was 70, so fat i could hardly find it, and had skin like a prune, then DEFINATELY NOT!
I suppose that if there was an actual dislike then there could be some pleaseure in being very rough and making the sex painful for her, but thats edging towards rape and emotionally very unhealthy for both persons.
Why not stick to the ones you DO like? :)

Any one can enjoy the physical pleasure of sex, this is true for both men and women.
being able to enjoy it doesnt mean they are having meaningful sex, like sex with a partner they love.

I think men can enjoy sex with whoever is available to them provided they fantasize and pretend its someone they fancy. Hence the saying 'men are dogs'

no not always.
a man doesn't have to be head over heals in love with a woman in order to enjoy sex with her. then again a woman can also enjoy sex with a man she isn't in love with either.
however, if a man is totally repulsed by a woman, he cannot enjoy sex with her. sex is about 10% in the genitals and 90% in the mind.
a woman he finds disgusting will conjure up too many gross out images in his mind.
