hi, do you know the different ways of stitching?
ex. cross stitch, running stitch etc.
and if you can, can you also add the definition of each

There are well over 100 stitches just for crewel that I know of, find a site and look it up as obviously I couldn't explain them all.

Crossstitch.about.com offers free instructions on how to cross stitch, if that's what you're looking for. The running stitch as such is not done in cross stitching, but there is what is called a back stitch for outlining on your projects.

What kind of stitching? Embroidery? Hand sewing? Needlepoint, knitting, crochet? You have to pick a technique and then google for a list of stitches within that technique.
