I think John Deere makes the best tractors on the market. They are excellent quality.

My hubby the black redneck will agree with you,his family has a mower that is eons old and with regular maint, still works and his uncle uses it every day.

There are reasons John Deere is considered the best tractors available. Over the years, they have been the longest lasting brand of tractors. They are made with the best quality parts. They have the best and biggest dealer and service network in the industry. They have the best resale value. IMO, John Deere makes the best tractors in the world.

I don't know about diesel but my used JD lawn tractor has been a work horse for the last 6 years with only the normal maintenance items. I would buy another if I had to - but I don't.

I like my Cub Cadet. Bought it instead of a Deere, cousin's Deere fails mechanically on a regular basis.
