I have been informed due to using a BABY MONITOR I bought is operating on an illegal channel or frequency of some B-sh*t. – the Broadcasting &Media Dept. are coming around to my home with a search warrant to remove it. (because I would not hand it over)

This is real people – NO joke.

So what ‘comments’ shall I say to them when they arrive?

How much was the monitor? Seeing a lawyer could cost you more than the monitor itself. And I guess, if you can change the frequency on both the base that remote... that's probably whta I'd do if I were you.

Who told you it was interfering? Are you sure they weren't pulling your leg about it? It looks like the Communications and Media Authority probably has a right to do something about it... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Australian_Broadcasting_Authority

But I think that they'd work with you to get your monitor off the frequency. If that can't be done, I'd take it back to whomever I bought it from, and if that's not possible, contact the manufacturer.

Definitely ask to see the search warrant or whatever other official document they have that shows you must hand over the monitor to them.

Good luck...

Well, if you're being real here, I'd say since I already had warnuing on this I'd go see a lawyer and that was like yesterday. And whoever showed up at my house better have some picture ID that shows them to be law enforcement and they had better have a warrant to get into my house. OTHER than that they ain't getting in. UNLESS of course my lawyer advised otherwise. But an easier solution would be to just let them take the monitor.

definite - Edgar's criminal expert could probably be waiting to get the data ruled as inadmissible because of the fact the Honda grow to be no longer indexed on the quest warrant. Callahan could have stopped, and had a 2nd warrant won for the Honda, or gotten an exchange on the unique warrant on an identical time as the two he or his better half stayed on the premises and watched the motor vehicle.
