Answer:

bcoz of their lower body structure, specially the legs. they hav longer legs at the back thn front & their physical structure doesn't allow them 2 walk. so they hav no other choice but to hop.

same goes wth the kangaroos.

Why do frogs jump?

There are lots of animals (like alligators, snakes, owls, and even people) who think that frogs make tasty snacks. Since frogs don't have sharp teeth or claws to defend themselves against predators, the best thing they can do to avoid being eaten is to escape as quickly as possible when they spot a hungry-looking animal approaching them. Sproinnggg!!! Some kinds of frogs can jump distances up to 20 times their own body length in a single leap. When disturbed, frogs often jump into a puddle or pond where they can hide underwater. Their erratic zig-zag jumping on land also serves to confuse potential predators.

Frogs sometimes take a few short steps, but their legs are specially constructed for jumping. Let your kid observe that the frog's hind legs are more muscular and stronger than its front legs, and that it's feet cannot support its weight enough to make it walk.

Their back legs are stronger than the front legs.So using the back legs they push themselves to jump for their movements..frogs can walk to short distance... but they like to jump only.. then only the kids can enjoy frog jumping race in their school...
