he makes us crazy with anger...we blow up...and he then declares Marshall Law and becomes an indefinite dictator?
what other reason could there be, (other than him being an idiot) for all this horror we're facing under his administration? things have never been so crazy and i feel like i'm in the twilight zone

two people wrote this to me:
They do it because then the President can declare "martial law" wherein he can stop whatever rights and laws he so determines, including the one that says he cannot be in the office of President for more than 2 terms ... in effect placing himself in the seat of indefinite dictator. And I assure you, people saw this coming back when daddy Bush was in office ...

I know people who have joined militia groups in my area, and have heard of them in almost every other state. I'd say tread carefully, but the time for careful consideration is over. Stop letting these clowns pull the wool over We, the People's eyes.

I'm going to sound crazy when I say this......but in all honesty....I do beleive that is exactly why they are doing this......all they have to do then is declare Marshall Law.....and we are done. I firmly beleive that is what they are doing. Who's the worst enemy? The enemy or my government siding with them

cruisinthru: i will draw your attention to the fact that we are somewhat overdrawn financially and china, yes...even china, isn't wanting to buy anymore of our wares...our dollar is quickly falling, dear...we are in record debt and these low unemployement levels you speak of are a facade...the good jobs went bye-bye and all the poor folks who lost their lovely jobs now have 2 crappy ones...well, whatever small crumbs left over once the illegals and the sell-out corporations running america have left us. i don't believe in your wonderful world of huge new heights in the stock market and see those large record-breaking payoffs to CEO's as another extortion. i won't fall for this game

bush is an idiot. cheney is the criminal mastermind.

Robert, is somewhat right. bush attacked a 3rd world nation with technology well beyond what they had, but under bush's leadership we cannot win. Proof of bush being stupid.

The only people setting us up to fail are the Democrats. And Bush is not running for reelection, according to the consitution a president can only serve for 2 terms. I would expect hillery if she get into the White House (God forbid) will pull such a thing, but not Bush.

Sometimes our instincts are right. We sense danger, but we don't know the how or the why. I think many people have the feeling that Bush might try to declare marshall law, at election time. My guess would be that it would not be because Americans are so angry at the administration; it would be in response to a threat or bombing by an international terrorist.

You poor poor pooky! Sorry to hear you are in such a state of horror! Get your mommy to kiss it and make it better. I must be living in a different U.S. then you are. Sure we are living in trying times, we are in a war against Islamo Fascists who have been attacking the free world for years and no one wanted to do anything about it until 3000 Innocent people had to die on 9/11. We've had some natural catastrophes that caused a lot of damage and cost a lot of money, but all in all over the past 7+ years we are in pretty good shape. Your mind set and those that agree with you scare the hell out of me. I am proud of the acomplishments of our president, no more major attacks on our country by terrorists, the tax cuts that have spurred our economy to create more jobs and the lowest numbers of sustanined unemployment in history! Stock market at record breaking highs and the government being fed more tax revenues then ever before. Yes we have some faults and yes Bush has made some mistakes (especially pushing for Amnisty) but all in all we are still the greatest country on this rock. I emplore you no BEG you to be more specific in what you are calling horrors. Name some for me PLEASE!! Enlighten me show me the error of my thinking. Save me from myself! I await your superior words of wisdom on pins and needles. Or could you be just another liberal windbag full of hot air with no substance? We will see.

Sorry??

Not understanding this statement. I am in no way a Bush supporter, as I personally believe he is a grade A onion.

But, seriously, what??

He isn't a dictator and he isn't stupid (well his staff isn't)
It is just typical machismo, he didn't want to look weak, so he blasted the hell out of a 3rd world nation with technology 50 years behind America, to make himself feel and look good.

I apologize as an American. But really, to the rest of the world, America is the most powerful country. It is something you will have to deal with.
Most Americans do not agree with Bush's international policy, but again most Americans don't care either, that's what got us into this pickle in the first place.

Oh well...
