Thought has crossed my mind many a time. Sometimes I am the only one with a thumbs down. Odd. Edit I can post an answer and automatically I have thumbs up, thumbs down. Go back a little later and the up is gone but the down remains. I know Yahoo has some glitches but they quickly resolve themselves. Answered a generic question. Gave a loving, nice answer and I got a thumbs down. Who would do that? You can't be nice without having a thumbs down. Go figure.

It's not right to give a star only if people like your answer. Stars should be for the question when you find it interesting. If you get thumbs down, that is not the asker's fault.
You have an interesting question, I will star it and leave it no matter what.
