Treat them the same as you did when you introduced them to your tank. You can move them in plastic bags, or large ziploc bags, and let them float so their temperature adjusts (try to do this early in the day, or when there's no full sun to keep the water in the bags from overheating). Do a few partial water changes in the bag so the fish get acclimated to the new water chemistry, and after 3-4 partial changes, release them.

i agree with both the posts already , the only thing different that I can see is that you can empty some of the tank water into a bucket and net the koi out into the bucket sit the whole bucket into the pond and tip sidewards the koi will swim out and should be fine if as the other post said the water in the pond is treated a few days before. if you add some pond plants the fish will thrive in their new homes valanceria, elodea or water poppy or iris, water lillies, duck weed all of the above are excellent plants for ponds and require no maintenance, koi are messy fish so make sure if no filtration on pond add water plants and change some water each week from the pond Good luck I hope you enjoy your pond.

well, that depends on how big yur kois are...
but whatever you do, DO NOT put the fish out of water!!!
when i'm moving my fish, i tried to use buckets, with some of the water from the first place, so that they won't get surprised by the new chemical.
in their new place - pond, 1/3 of the water will have to be from the tank, the reason is the same...
there are also some kinda special medicine to reduce the fish's stress... and don't forget to handle withcare, don't stress them too much...
good luck

once you circulate them, shop them in a plastic bag crammed with the water from the indoor aquarium and placed it into the pond. After some days, them temperature might have steadily evened out and there should not be any reason at the back of the fish to go through any ask your self from the exchange. Then upload some pin holes interior the bag to permit different waters to merge.

Prepare the water for the pond a couple days in advance; add any treatments you usually do. The day you move them, make sure to add plenty of their old water into the pond and move them as swiftly as possible.
