Olympus Mons, on Mars, is the highest mountain in our solar system, so it is the highest known mountain on any planet. It is very likely that there are taller mountains on other undiscovered planets, but we don't know about them yet.
The central edifice stands 27 kilometers (around 15.5 miles/approx. 110,000 ft) high above the mean surface level of Mars(about three times the elevation of Mount Everest above sea level and 2.6 times the height of Mauna Kea above its base).

olympus mons on mars is the tallest mountain in the solar system, but since there are bound to be plenty of planets outside the solar system that we can't see, we can't be sure what the highest mountain is.

This is a silly question. Why do you want to know the TALLEST mountain on other planets? Are planning on getting in shape and climbing it?
