About 10 minutes (driving) from the James River and about 1 1/2 hours from Virginia Beach.
Don't be happy for me- They both look gross. LOL

I live a quarter mile from Okatoma Creek and about 85 miles from the Mississippi Gulf Coast. The road I live beside dead ends at the Atlantic Ocean. Far enough inland to be relatively safe from hurricanes but close enough for a 90 minute drive. How cool is that?

Yes, right by a stream. We live in the city, but it's a little stream that goes through the neighborhood we live in. Little ducks sometimes swim in it. How cute is that!
