No, I've not heard of this but it doesn't sound normal to me. I would recommend getting in touch with your dr right away and I would also recommend reporting this to the company that manufactures the Nuva Ring.

I had to report some symptoms I was having on a birth control pill to the manufacturer of that pill because it was so unusual.

I used it for a month, I guess my husband said my smell changed when I had it has well, but I forgot how he described the smell.
