We just got thegangblog.com domain, we would like your opinion on this name, is it good or bad and what does it associate with to you?

I don't know what you're going to do with it. If you're in it for selling the name, you should register for the .net name also.
Name value wise, I think it good. Easy to remember and marketable.
If you want to make the most out of it, I would recommend that you develop some content to show potential buyer that the name has commercial value.

It sounds like a fairly good domain. I would associate it with of course a blog. The word "gang" could be interpreted as a gang of friends, or an actual gang.

I feel the name is fine. For me it denotes something like a blog space for a group of friends ie. for a gang.

I am agreement with the Top Contributor's response that the definition of "gang" is not classy, and do you really want to draw upon that segment of young people.
