ok..so the ot being able to sleep part...just stop worrying about your period...it doesnt mean anything special and you dont have to act different so ease up....feeling bad?....i feel that way when i give into my period cravings because right after i do...i feel gross and since i am already at a heightened emotional state...it doesnt help.so...my advice..eat as u normally do and if you gotta give in....moderation is key.as far as the cramps go.ugh! i get them sooo bad....but get a hot towel or a big fluffy blanket straight from the dryer and put it on ur stomach and just concentrate on ur breathing..it is heaven. and i would steer clear of midol...it is mostly for older girls.try baby aspirin or a lower dosage of advil.take regulary instead of just when you get cramps...ya know like 2 in the morning.2 more 4 hours later....but only when you are on ur period.enjoy! hope this all helps

it will get better but there will be times the pain wont let you walk just stay warm maybe a blanket and no cold drinks it goes away pretty soon the first 2 days of of your period are usually the hardest but relax and dont be scared all of our bodys react different its normal. your probably going to the bathroom from drink alot of water or the anxiety of it being the first time hang in there..

Its all part of your menstrual cycle however 8 times in an hour? I would be worrying dreadfully. once in an hour is bad and your going 8 times. That's once every 8 minutes. Sorry but i'm only telling you the truth.

Talk to your mother or doctor or adult female friend. You don't know what you are getting on this site.

welcome to the joys of womanhood, midol makes you pee, stick to the advil or tylenol, hot showers or baths help with the cramps.
