He doesn't standout in a crowd, especially in Los Angeles. He doesn't look like anything special. His personality is dull.
His charisma maybe gone with his youth...

You're obviously not a soccer fan. Most soccer fans would recognize David Beckham. He's one of the most soccer players in the world, except USA.

Oh, c'mon. He's a very cute boy (Madame M says in her best granny voice).
But, I'm an American who lives in Japan, so 1) I've seen him on commercials, and 2) he'd stand out like a big blonde Viking. I'd say there's an 85 percent chance I'd recognize him. (That drops to 10 percent, though, if I've lost my glasses.)
