well well..nice question...
1.first of all they look a bit alike...dont they???especially their hair style and their nose...
2.then another common factor is that they were both no-ones when they were given the top positions...when boris yeltsin chose putin as his successor nobody actually knew much of him...same was the case with naseer hussain...he wasnt himself a much established cricketer when he was given the top job...
3.another factor was that both were responsible for the renaissance of their field...the russian economy was in dire straits and so was english cricket at the time of their appointment at their respective top jobs...n both filled in new and fresh energy...
well if you had some other ideas do mail them to me...thanx

Well, Nasser does look a bit like putin, but definitely not
like "Hussein of Bagdad" But Nasser Hussein was born in Egypt. I don't think Putin was born there.
