Maybe, and maybe not. Assuming you mean an alien spacecraft, their ability to approach Earth would mean very high technology so they could simply evade our detection system.
Even if we could see them, we don't have an "early warning" radar system for outside of low-earth orbit, like we have for detecting nuclear missile launches. The satellites and radar used in that aren't looking away from Earth, they're looking towards and across it.
There are programs to identify near-earth-orbit objects like asteroids and comets, and astronomical telescopes, amateur comet-hunters, and the like, but at any given time only a very small portion of the sky is being observed.
So, unless we're lucky, the aliens will get pretty close before we can see them.
Then again, if they're so advanced, would it do much good if we knew they were coming?

A satellite designed to *look* for UFOs approaching the earth might detect it. Most satellites have other purposes.
Stealth aircraft have a very small radar "footprint", and depending on the size, composition, and construction of a UFO, it might not show up at all.
A few years ago, my wife and I saw two small black fighter planes, no markings, with no curves, only flat surfaces. They flew over our car, at a height of only a few hundred feet. We didn't hear a sound, but we were in a rattletrap car, so we turned off the engine and coasted, and still heard nothing from the planes. We were on a rural road between Huntington, Indiana and Marion, Indiana, and the planes were headed in the general direction of Gus Grissom AFB.
Two weeks later, there was a blurry picture of a stealth fighter on the cover of Time magazine. It didn't look much like the ones we saw.
Strictly speaking, what we saw were unidentified, and they were flying objects. I've a pretty good idea what they were, though. Do you?
Any alien civilization capable of reaching Earth is surely intelligent enough to pull the blinds on their windows if they want to remain unseen, and capable of finding major cities in the middle of the day if they want to be seen. Yes, UFOs exist, and there are lots of them, but they aren't full of little green men.

most satellites are pointing down at the earth, not out into space. ground based radar would be more likely to pick up ufo's coming in than any space based systems.
the radio telescopes on earth scanning outer space would be most likely to pick something up. in space there would only be the space telescopes looking outwards, almost everythign else is looking down.

A smart UFO would disable any satellite while it was out of range.
A dumb one would blunder into hell!

Of course they will! Welcome to the 21st century, where ALMOST anything can be detected incoming from space, EVEN UFOs.
