Unfortunately, in most states you don't even need a high school diploma to become a RE agent. Thus, the resulting increasing pool of lazy liars, cheats, and swindlers.

Not in Michigan. You just need a 40 hour course and to pass an exam. Licensing requirements vary state by state. You should check with your state's licensing department.

I agree with mefrancis: In Michigan you just need the course, In Nevada it's the same with one years spent under a tutor that's your mentor.

don't really need it if you have taken the rest of the R E classes
right before your temp license expires (2 yrs)
also you'll need these classes to became a broker
