i use to give rice or pasta mixed with veggies,some cheese and meat.but i get the feeling that he feels too full and find hard to sleep comfortably unless he poo.i just want to change his dinnertime meal to something light but wont make him hungry as well.and lastnight i gave a banana with a cup of yoghurt and he had a goodnight sleep.please tell me more meals and recipes i could give.

my baby does not have a teeth yet, and doctor said its normal.so i have to mash the food even a bit coarsely

Why not just give him the bigger meal earlier in the day and then more of a snack before bed. My little one often has a banana and a cup of milk before bed.

Honestly, my children at that age ate what we ate, just mushed up, with in reason, if we had steak, we couldn't feed them that. I never really made them meals, I had baby food around for the times we had things they couldn't eat, but almost always there was something that they would and could eat. Also try having him eat a little earlier so he isn't as full when he goes to bed.
