Ok, I think I got the jist of it. Are you able to work? If so, why don't you? You shouldn't put off being married because of money.

When a man marries a woman who has children, he marries the children too. Why should the taxpayers pay to support your children when it is the legal and moral responsibility of your new husband to do so? If he will not face up to that responsibility, you are much better off to find out now rather than after the wedding.

And please do not listen to the rude people who criticize your writing and grammar. I live in Taiwan. I'm a teacher, and I can't read. Two-year old kids speak better Chinese than I do.

You grammar critics should be ashamed of yourselves, picking on a woman who is asking fo help.

Well, just make sure that both of you are financially stable with enough cash for the family, house, utility bills etc. It is no joke when bills and money effect family lives. Love is not as important if you want a happy home. Do think about it seriously. Just make sure you are prepared for it.

Why don't you two just live together with commitment? Have a public, but not legally binding ceremony. Be married in your hearts, but don't bother with the legal stuff because you can't afford it. You can do the whole thing the vows, exchange rings, call yourselves married etc. just don't get a marriage certificate.

What is the example you want to set for your children? Do you want them to see mommy shacking up with some guy because of money, or do you want to show them how people who love each other are willing to make a marital committment and become husband and wife??

All depends on what you want them to see.

Marriage is just a piece of paper. If you love each other and are committed then that's all that matters.

Oh, how I long for punctuation.

Just get married or don't. If you use a drop in your welfare check to keep from from getting married then you've got bigger problems to deal with.

TELL HIM THAT YOU TWO CAN MAKE IT OFF OF HIS INCOME AND THE SSI THAT YOU WILL GET. IF YOU ARE LEGAL AGE, IT DOES NOT MATTER WHAT HIS DAD HAS TO SAY ABOUT IT.
