I don't see that it will make a difference for the better or worse... things will continue to go downhill as they have done for the last 7 years.

Everyone in Britain should care about Gordon Brown becoming PM.. He's done enough damage while being chancellor imagine what he will be able to do now!.. Yikes!....

Not sure how things have gone downhill for the last 7 years, but that's another discussion.
I care that Gordon Brown has not been elected into power, not sure at the moment what difference it will make.

every politicial who has been in this country has caused a war. They are all the same, they want to stay in history and do something that they can get remembered by even after they rot in hell.

Blair effected alot of people in good and bad way and so will this Brown guy. He has already made a desicion wothout asking the nations opinion by not having an election, so whats stopping him from carrying on like this afterwards for anything else. he can demolish nhs and privatise health care, close any benefits and next thing we know, we will be living like an american life, pay for your education, health and living r sta in the streets.

Until the country is run as a business then really it can never develop to its full extent. If you was running a private company then you would never allow the kind of expenditure that is wasted on trivial things. Only when the books are better balanced can there be a better way forward.....

What I'm most interested in is when a general election is going to be called! The sooner the better but no doubt we will have to wait a while until Labour at least think there is a remote possibility they may get re-elected!

Your right about things going down hill, but it kind of cheeses me off having an un-elected PM.

EVERYONE SHOULD CARE AS EVERY SINGLE ONE OF US WILL BE AFFECTED IN SOME WAY OR AN OTHER. IT DEPENDS ON YOUR PERSONAL SITUATION. IF YOU ARE RICH YOU WOULD BE DELIGHTED BUT IF YOU ARE A PENSIONER, A SINGLE PARENT, ON A LOW INCOME, UNEMPLOYED, HOMELESS AND SICK YOU WILL SUFFER LIKE HELL. NOT TO MENTION IF YOU ARE IN THE ARM FORCES PUTTING YOUR LIFE ON THE LINE FOR NO REASON. WE MUST CARE AND WE MUST DEMAND MORE DEMOCRACY AND LESS DICTATORSHIP.

At first I am tempted to say "Come back Tony, all is forgiven" - but all is NOT forgiven, and this tongue-chewing Scot won't do much/anything to improve matters, let alone correct their past c ock-ups!-
