I was on the pill for about three years, just to help keep pms low. I stopped taking them for three months, had serious lower back pain, decided to start them again"maybe not so smart" but I now have had palpitations for about 25 days, the Doctor has suggested that I stop taking them again. Has anyone experiened this? sometimes Doctors cannot pinpoint why, any info would really be great !!!

I have had a similar experience. I had been off the pill for 1 year; just started again this month. The palps started shortly after I started.I started doing some research today on the palps and it looks like it could be related to my pill. The doc gave me a new one (Femcon), and I need to give them a call to get a switch back to my old pill. Are you taking a brand new prescription or the same as you were on before?

I have not experienced this but I would recommend checking with your pharmacist as well to see what they say. They may be able to help you and your dr figure out what is going on.
