He's a passionate player! He's a good leader, but he does seem to blow up over some pretty small stuff.

Do you actually watch the Mets? He doesnt cry about calls at all. Saturday night was an exception, he went overboard, apologized to the ump and is taking his two game suspension and moving on.

If you would actually watch some games, you would know that not only is Paul LoDuca for the most part a very classy player, but that catchers dont usually argue calls because they want the calls to go their way as well.

I don't know, but I have MLB.com's subscription this season and I happened to be watching the game that he went nuts in. He got P'd off about a called strike TWO, STRIKE TWO!! I never seen anyone get so heated about a second strike, 3rd strike yes many times, but a strike 2 in a situation where his pitcher (Orlando Hernandez) was in the middle of a shutout with the score tied at 0-0. This is not the time to start mouthing off the home plate umpire and earn a suspension. His eyes looked like they were going to pop out of his face. He was in the middle of an at bat when he got tossed so Castro came in for one pitch and struck out. I thought LoDuca getting tossed would disrupt El Duque but it didn't and ironically Castro got a late hit and the Mets won it 1-0.

complicated to declare... you're ideal that Barrett hits jacks, yet he seems to be on a chilly spell these days, and Piniella has given Blanco some greater starts. besides, Blanco is desperate to via Zambrano's very own catcher, so there pass a team greater AB's... Lo Duca is worth getting. what number human beings on your league?

well, I like seeing that he is passionate about the game... you need fire like that to win. However he really blew his top on Staurday about a foolish little call. I think that he over did it and now the rest of the team has to suffer the consequnces.
