I think that relief of getting rid of a wedgie is problem a greater feel than giving one. When you got the wedgie blues, you really really want to end it quickly. But when you want to give somebody one, it is less important. Simply I guess which one do you have to do? You have to get a wedgie out, but you don't have to give one.
