Arent you tired of people hatin on the PS3?

I know I am. I own one and I think it kills the Xbox 360. PS3 doesnt have good games right now but neither did the 360 until gears of war game out. PS3 hasnt even been out very long compared to the 360 and the PS3 has wayyyy more potential considering its cell broadband processor.

The reason why the Playstation 3 is doing so poorly in sales in mainly due to the ludicrous price and the lack of games. True, the X-Box 360 does have a considerable library of games as compared to the Nintendo Wii and Playstation 3, but then again, the X-Box 360 has been released a full year before the other two. It is normal for a video game system to have a low choice of games upon its initial release. The 360 went through the same thing, and their sales were not as sub-par as the PS3. And the Wii sold out in a heartbeat, and stayed sold out for quite some time. People are untrusting of the PS3 because they can't afford it, and if they can, then are untrusting due to the lack of games. But if they do find something they like, then there's the hunt for a good high definition television, which is another $5000 down the toilet. The PS3 has great potential, but Sony has accidently roadblocked that potential by trying to earn back the money they spent making it. This was an unforeseen mistake on their part, and now they must mass-advertise the system in hopes of garnering more buyers, which is only costing them more money. If the system were to cost as much as the 360, it'd quite possibly outsell both the 360 and the Wii.

So it's not everyone who are "hatin" on the PS3. Those who just don't realize the specifics are. You've got to compare the process of making and selling the system, and understand why Sony has to release it at such a price. It cost them a fortune to make it, so we must pay a fortune so they can make their fortune back and more. It's all business.

As a Nintendo fanboy and a self-stylized PS3 hater, I gotta say having all that horsepower isn't worth anything without good games for it. The games I've seen on the PS3 are on par, graphics wise, with 360 Games. Really. I'd even dare to say that Halo3 looks better than Resistance.
Even the 360 has fun games Pre-GoW, Halo 1-2 are still big, not to Mention Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (Came out before Gears of War, I checked. Definately fun.)

I won't even talk about the Wii, except that the Sales numbers make the argument for me.

is not that we make fun of it, but is all the talk that Ken Kutaragi said about the ps3 and didn't deliver on what he promised. Also the fact that many of sony's exclusives are going to the xbox 360 and the games for ps3 are also found on the xbox 360.

yeah my friends in love with the Wii i tell him the PS3 is cooler then he just goes off saying that its better because you can control what there doing and stuff i mean i like the Wii but playstation is awesome ive been playin plastation since i was like 4 my big brother waited in line 4 days to be one of the first to get a PS1

sony screwed up, theres no denying it. The ps2 sold 10x the amount of ps3's in 2007. playstation is losing all of its solid titles that were exclusives, *cough* grand theft auto *cough*
Its gonna kill the system.
