Considering the size of our ever growing population, cricket will always have a huge fan following .But on the whole the popularity of the game has certainly declined .The no. of people going to a stadium and watchign the match has coem down,viewership ratings is also dipping.
Until and unless INDIA reedems itself with good victories and new stars emerge, the growth will be in negative.

While the growth of cricket as far as popularity and interest are concerned has been fantastic, unfortunatly the same is
not reflected in the performance of Indian Team.

In terms of money, Indian cricket growth is phenomenal. But we cannot say about this in term of quality of cricket and only BCCI is responsible for this.
