The middle east has historically always been an area of malcontent.
To attempt to negotiate with countries and to get delegates to sit around a table and talk is very demanding.
Trust is something that has to be earned.
Tony Blair has had a great deal of experience concerning the middle east.
Whatever you feel about the invasion of Iraq it happened.
We must move forward with diplomats who have knowledge not only of the area but the people.

he is a very carrismatic person and i think will be ideal for the job look at Bill Clinton and Bush Snr they have done great jobs as ambassadors, i mean i live in Ausralia and dont like the fact that John Howard has put us in the firing line either, but that is what countries do these days since Hitler, that is why they call them allies they must help each other ,
How would you feel if England was dragged in to war and no other country helped and they all stood by ?

I think he has had 10 full years in the limelight, now let him move on to what ever he wants, he will no longer be regarded as our prime minister and therefore will not be seen as talking for all of us in the decisions he makes (yes i know he never was, but he was elected by the UK, he just stopped listening inbetween election campaigns) .....

It's just easier than putting him on trial and bringing back the death penalty for him - the terrorists in Iraq and Iran will have him in no time.
